1925 – The agency was founded by Ernest Roe as a Grange Insurance Agency dedicated to serving the local Grange members. At that time only members of the Fraternal Order of Grange were allowed to participate in the insurance program and each Grange Hall had an agent elected by that Grange. Ernest was also a member of the governing board of Grange Insurance and actively contributed to establishing Grange Insurance as a successful insurance company serving the northwest.
1945 – Ronald Roe succeeded his father as the Grange agent and also served on the board of directors of Grange Insurance Company. He was an active member of the Goldendale Grange and was a respected member of the Goldendale community.
1982 – Candy Roe Hack joined her father in the agency.
1986 – Ronald Roe retired and Candy Hack assumed ownership of the agency. The Candy Hack Agency continued in business until 1997 when Candy retired to pursue other business interests with her husband John.
1997 – Barbara Anderson purchased the agency. At that time, Anderson Insurance Associates became an independent agency able provide a broad range of insurance products to our clients.
2006 – Joseph Anderson joined Anderson Insurance Associates and has contributed to the expansion of the agency.
2009 – Anderson Insurance Associates opened an office in Prosser, WA to provide services to clients in the Yakima Valley.
